{embrace} the camera [friends edition]

It's Thursday and that means another "{embrace} the camera" day!  Today's theme is "friends."  While being back over Christmas we've been able to get together and hang out with lots of our friends from back home (both NE and KS).  We've had so much fun catching up!

We got the chance to go on a double date with Caleb and Shannon [in the middle] to Texas Roadhouse [my favorite place to eat steak!] and then stopped by Jon and Charlie's place afterward since Charlie was working from home that night.  Pretty sure we stayed until well after midnight and then had an hour drive back to my parent's house.  I can't speak for anyone else but I know I had a blast!

Lincoln got to stay back with my parent's and Hope and Derek for the evening :)

While in KS, we got to help Chad celebrate getting his MBA.  Now that you guys have more time on your hands, you HAVE to come visit us!  

I got the privilege of cuddling this sweet boy for quite awhile all weekend.  This picture was taken on New Year's Eve before his momma could put his pj's on him.  Isn't he just adorable?!  I hadn't seen him since the day after he was born back in July!
