{embracing} the camera in a tent?!

We're getting tired of all this cold weather stuff so we decided, if we can't go camping outside, we'll pitch a tent.....inside!  Lincoln was given this tent set {including two tents and one tunnel to connect the two tents} but unfortunately for Lincoln his room isn't big enough to set it all up so he had to "settle" for one tent :)  After I set it up for him, he quickly started putting his stuff animals in there.  We hung out in there awhile yesterday.  It's a great reading tent!

Lincoln is so funny when I set the timer on my camera...he sees the flashing red light and just freezes.  The camera took 10 consecutive pictures and in each one his face was stuck in the "deer in the headlights" look!  I even tried distracting him and he didn't flinch. You can kinda tell by the picture that he's leaning away from me as to say, "mom stop it, I'm concentrating on not moving!"

I wish I would've had someone else there with us to take a picture of him and I setting up the camera for this shot.  I was laying on my tummy since the camera was set on the floor trying to see what the picture would look like and my little copy cat came and layed right beside me pretending to be working just as hard as mommy to set up the camera! It was so cute!
