18 weeks

18 weeks is finally here!
check out the bump...

wasn't really thinking about how well it would show up next to the black background when I chose to wear this today so I'm including this second picture of my special helper and I since you can kinda see the bump a little better.  Sure starting to stick out there!  Although when I'm sitting you can't tell at all that I'm preggo.  Oh well, it'll come.

18 week update:

*tomorrow we get to find out if this little peanut is another cute boy for Lincoln and Baby J to play with or a little princess for them to protect, check back tomorrow evening to see!

*headaches, oh how I will not miss you when you finally stop

*still sick in the evenings but it's getting better little by little

*cravings = steak, I think I could eat it every night!

*weight gain - 4lbs

*I forgot to say this last week but 17 weeks was technically my half way point to my goal of 34 weeks.  Hoping to go much, much longer than that but still making it to my half way point is a small victory!  So I can officially say I'm half way there!

*Anxiety is starting to creep in.  I'm praying for a peace that surpasses all understanding as I inch nearer and nearer to the 24 week mark.  To be honest I'm really nervous about our sonogram tomorrow.  I know God is completely in control of this and that he has molded and created this little peanut just the way he/she is supposed to be but it still makes me nervous that we could find out things aren't developing like they should.  I guess I'm just waiting for something bad to happen and I know I shouldn't do that but it's hard to change that mindset.  I've already had to hand over this little girl/boy to God and am trying to let go.  But that's so much easier said than done.

I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8)
