Fourth of July

We started our fourth of July celebrations the Sunday before the fourth with a fireworks show at

an outdoor shopping center near us.  It was an interesting evening.  The program that was supposed to start an hour and a half before the fireworks was rain delayed an hour later and so we got there just in time for when we THOUGHT the fireworks were supposed to start but they ended up doing the entire program still and the fireworks that were supposed to start at 9:30 didn't start until 11pm.  Trying to entertain lots of kiddos for an hour and a half not knowing when the show would start was quite the tiring experience.

He kept his ears covered the whole time (it was pretty loud!) and I think he liked them!

All done and one our way back to our cars.  Late night to say the least :)

We were super excited to see them and so blessed to be able to spend the holiday with them!
