4th of July

The good news and the bad news....
The good news is that I got to spend the 4th of July with my two favorite boys!
The bad news is that my camera broke :(

But our friends Craig and Allie came to the rescue with their by taking pictures with Craig's phone!

We were throwing around the idea of going down to D.C. for their big fireworks display, but after talking about it for awhile we decided it wasn't really worth all the effort of taking the crowded metro, walk 1/2 mile (with no stoller, because of the crowded metro) find a place to sit and then watch a 15 minute display, walk 1/2 mile back wait an hour or so to board the metro again and head back. 

So we opted for a much more relaxing option :)

We ate at Uncle Julio's in Gaithersburg, MD (not quite American food...hehe) Tex-Mex counts right?  Then we headed to the Target parking garage and watched the fireworks from the top of the parking garage.  It was great to see them from the distance and we didn't have to fight traffic :)

We said goodbye to Tyler today again and will fly back to Nebraska bright and early tomorrow morning (which just happens to be Lincoln's birthday!)  Happy 1st birthday a little early my little miracle :)
