instagram explosion

Get ready for some majoy picture overload!  It's like my instagram is exploding all over my blog....oozing cuteness like this:

what can I say?  it's tough work driving all through the night.  These two were troopers and I'm hoping for good travelers once again when we make an even longer trip to NE for Christmas!

But getting to Grandma and Grandpa's house makes it all worth it!
This is what we found when Tyler and I woke up after sleeping for a couple hours
once we arrived at 6am.

He thinks he's going to make the Thanksgiving meal

that tongue.

day 2 and this one is down for the count.  Such a trooper and Grandma definitely soaked this all up.

Had to take the boys to the zoo Cabelas :)

"there are animals everywhere!"

These two made apple pie for dessert.
Notice Hope's determined focus.

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa came!

"Hey, now how do I get down there to Grandma?!"

he loved it.

the last night before we left we had the chance to meet up with some friends from Wichita!  We had a wonderful meal at Cheesecake Factory on the Plaza, went to this super fun dueling piano bar and then ended the night playing games back in their hotel room.  My cheeks were sore the next morning from laughing so hard.

Sweet, sweet friends

and then our LONG drive back home.....but wait who's that?!
Grandma Hunni snuck into the van while we weren't looking and decided
she would come along! :)
we had such a great Thanksgiving weekend with countless things to be thankful for!
Now to work off all the turkey and pie that I ate :)

  1. Looks like a fun weekend with family and friends. And love the gingerbread train. We've only done the houses but I did see the train this year....wish I would've picked one up!
